Plot

Decades ago, a dark force stole all the light in the wonderful world of photon balls. In order for the light not to be recovered, the photons have been hidden in different places in the Universe. Today, your objective is to travel through the different worlds collecting the photons to recover the multicolored light of the photon balls.

The Game

Photon Ball is an addictive vertical scrolling platform game designed like an 80s arcade. Visually it uses pixel art of 16 colors for the stage and enemies + 8 colors for the background, but it goes further with carefully designed gameplay and stage levels. It deserves a special mention that the soundtrack is done on AMIGA's wonderful Protracker, so you are really listening to remastered MODs. Collect all the photons and look for the exit to complete a level. Collect bonus items consecutively as they appear to earn an increasing bonus. Be fast and skillful, don't forget to find the special bonus levels and be careful with the obstacles and enemies around you!
